Trustee/Chief Encourager
Joe is the Founder, Chief Encourager and Trustee of All Heart NZ. He was formerly the co-founder and Chair of Coast Youth Community Trust and has a background in business management and start-up ventures. Joe served as a Pastor at Whangaparaoa Baptist Church for 12 years and is involved in another start-up in the coffee industry. Joe is married with two children.
National Rangatira, All Heart Stores
LJ has developed our All Heart Store in Manukau having previously worked in retail and as ops manager for Habitat for Humanity Re-Store, as well as Business Operations manager for CIDANZ (Cook Islands Development Agency). LJ has a heart for community development and, whilst still based at Manukau, is now responsible for all of our All Heart Store sites around Aotearoa, as the National Rangatira.
Business Development Manager
With a background in sales and a heart to make a difference in people’s lives, Julie is proud to represent All Heart NZ in business and relationship development, working with our corporate partners. Julie’s empathy and heart means she loves being part of bringing about positive change in the community. Julie has a love for kombis, the sun and travel, and a heart for the lost and lonely.
Operations Manager
Toni works alongside the wider All Heart NZ team supporting clients nationally to deliver corporate resource recovery solutions. Toni is an experienced Sales professional with a strong history of over 20 years driving dynamic product and solutions sales. Known for being customer-centric with exemplary focus on ensuring that customer needs are always met. Toni’s motto “DOING BUSINESS WITH PEOPLE, FOR PEOPLE.”
Toni has a love for all animals, dancing and always keen to get her hands on old furniture to refurbish and bring them back to life.
Business Manager
Caroline has been involved in the non-profit sector in both management and governance roles since moving to New Zealand in 2001 and following a successful legal career in the UK. Whilst serving on a number of non-profit boards as a trustee Caroline completed the Not-for-Profit Management Graduate Diploma at Unitec. Her passion in seeing business and community working together is reflected in her role at All Heart NZ, overseeing the financial and administrative aspects of the Trust board, funding and team.
Office Manager
Elden supports the Accounts, Admin and Operations across All Heart Stores and All Heart NZ. Elden is an HR specialist and has all-round experience in business support both in South Korea and in New Zealand. Elden brings his skills in finance, HR, Health and Safety and operations management to ensure the smooth running of all our day to day operations.
Funding Coordinator
Mairi has had a long association with All Heart NZ and recently rejoined the team as Funding Coordinator. Mairi brings experience in Administration and Accounts and has been involved in many different private businesses and Not for Profit enterprises.
Logistics Manager
Kura joined us as All Heart Freight Manager, after working for a workplace and logistics company for 6 years as their Warehouse Supervisor. Kura comes with considerable experience in logistics, freight and warehousing so we are excited he is running our freight crew, supporting the Corporate Redirections service and deliveries for the Stores. Kura also works with our community partners to support our Redirection service with community destinations, so is a vital member of the team.
All Heart Store Kaikohe Community Enterprise Developer
Kerry is motivated by God and passionate about relationships. He and Annie moved back to New Zealand in 2020 having spent 20 years in Kolkata, India, establishing Freeset, a business to bring freedom to women trapped in the sex industry to provide life-skills and find hope and dignity. In partnership with Te Ara Hou Charitable Trust (Pathways of Hope), All Heart NZ are excited to launch All Heart Store Kaikohe to serve the local community, bringing hope and restoring dignity to many.
All Heart Store Kaikohe
Annie is motivated by God and passionate about relationships. All Heart Store Kaikohe Warehouse Manager
Debbie has a passion for the local community in Kaikohe and started as a volunteer when the All Heart Store was first established whilst also working night shift! Debbie is now on the team looking after the Warehouse and Store, having a background in retail and a practical, creative mind set – she particularly likes re-assembling items coming off the truck and teaching the skills she has learnt to others, which helps mentoring the next generation of volunteers. Debbie is a wonderful asset to our Kaikohe team and community.
All Heart Store Waitara Manager
Deena has always worked alongside people, sharing stories in her previous roles as a social worker and news reporter. She brings to the All Heart kaupapa her beliefs in the importance of community, and empowering its people, to achieve success across the board. As the face of the All Heart Waitara Store, she is excited about helping it realise its potential in her hometown and making the initiative thrive.
All Heart Store Wellington Manager
TJ has a passion for his local community in Porirua and is closely involved with the Menorah Prayer Mountain Church which runs the All Heart Store in Wellington.
TJ always has a smile, ready to serve customers with repurposed corporate items at a reasonable price, whilst supporting his volunteers and wider community.

All Heart Store Christchurch Manager
Alanah comes from a background in early childhood education but loves building relationships and connections with everyone. So she is perfect to lead the All Heart Store Christchurch, run by Spreydon Baptist Communities Trust, dealing with customers and making people feel welcome and connecting with the local community. Alanah’s bright smile and outgoing personality lends itself to customer care, ready to help anyone.

Trustee – Board Chair
Ant spent his early career as a Seaman Officer with the Royal New Zealand Navy and this led to many years as a volunteer with the Spirit of Adventure Trust in youth development and corporate leadership growth. Ant then ran Foodstuff’s Auckland leadership and management training, before establishing his own leadership development business. Ant currently focuses on governance development for businesses across Aotearoa New Zealand.
We are privileged to have Ant’s expertise on our board of Trustees as Chair, raising our level of excellence in the governance and leadership of All Heart NZ.
Trustee – Deputy Chair
Kate, also known as Ethically Kate, is an All Heart NZ partner and a Trustee on our Board. Kate is an educator, activist and blogger who advocates for people to live in a way which respects and protects people and the planet. She works as a brand ambassador for sustainability focused companies and hosts events for businesses and individuals to think and act more sustainably. She is passionate about sharing stories that matter, connecting people together, and protecting our gorgeous Aotearoa for future generations.
Trustee
For 20 plus years Jonathon was the coordinator of the Zero Waste Academy at Massey University. This involved teaching, research supervision, industry/community consultation and advisory on campus and city sustainability. Jonathon is currently an independent research consultant and circular economy advisor. Jonathon’s PhD research involved designing and evaluating interdisciplinary municipal zero waste methodologies. His current R&D focus is exploring low-cost/low-carbon/off-grid/community engaged technologies for a circular bio-economy. We are very pleased to have had Jonathan as an advisory Board member since August 2020 and joining as a full Trustee in June 2022.
